New loveLife Trust is looking for a Youth Development Manager to manage the implementation of loveLife youth development programmes through existing and new infrastructure and platforms to ensure that the skills and abilities of young people are improved for better and that there is visible impact within the youth communities we serve. The successful applicant will be required to fulfil the following functions with technical excellence
- Overall responsible for the implementation of the loveLife Youth Development strategy.
- Responsible for the overall implementation of the Youth Development programme across all platforms and areas of execution
- Engagement of programme participants pre and post their involvement with the programme
- Design new content, training, and other programmatic tools in line with the youth development strategy of loveLife for Mpintshis, groundBREAKERS, and Alumni.
- Responsible for the roll-out of all projects involving loveLife Mpintshis, groundBREAKER’ s and Alumni opportunities within the country and internationally.
- Overall custodian of master register of gB Alumni for loveLife.
- Thought leadership in academic contexts, as well as internal knowledge management, are key to this position.
- The Alumni Programme is coordinated nationally
- Manage opportunity creation and access for youth within loveLife communities.
- Overall responsible for continuous development of content and alignment to the South African Youth Development Policies and Regulations.
- Development of programme budgets rates and alignment thereof across all departments and units responsible/ contributing to the youth development programme to ensure uniformity and sustainability
- Management of project spending patterns and preventative oversight on over or underspending areas for the youth development programme.
- Oversee the provision of structured programmatic training briefs and material to the national training designer to ensure relevance to gB’s and mp’s
- Work with Programme Measurement and Design department to identify implementation weakness and gaps and challenges and lead the execution of remedial action
- Overall responsible manager for quality for staff and youth implementer readiness at all times to drive quality implementation and impact
- Responsible for the implementation of loveLife strategy for stakeholder management within the context of the programme
- Responsible to relationship management of funders and stakeholders within the programme
- Responsible for fundraising for the programme as defined in the loveLife strategy
- Responsible for the development of fundraising packages for youth development
- Strategic leader in development and provision of technical information and data for the development of business plans/proposals for youth development
- Management (with defined performance deliverables) of professional contractors in Conferencing, Event Management, Brand Management & Activation, Public Relations, TV Production, Logistics Management, Technical Delivery Agents for High Profile Events, etc. in the execution of the programme in accordance with the delegation of authority
- Oversee that integration of Results Based M&E to all business plans involving youth development entered between loveLife and its stakeholders and funders working jointly with loveLife PMD.
- Provide reports (data and narrative) in accordance with signed SLAs and internal time-lines set.
- Provide reports as prescribed internally and to funders
- Provide SOPs for the loveLife Youth Development Programmes; mpintshi and gB programme
- A relevant Post Graduate Qualification (Honours Degree), Masters degree will be an advantage
- Youth Development, Skills Development, Mentoring and Coaching, Programme Design and review, Managing the internships and leadership programmes

- Problem solving & Ability to interact with people at all levels

- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

- Good coordination skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work according to systems and procedures and identify opportunities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Driver’s Licence required

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: R513,000.00 per year
