Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients and suppliers
- Conduct ongoing market research
- Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a quality and timely manner
- **Create budgets for projects**
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- **Create**, send, and negotiate **offers** with suppliers and clients, within the given mandate received from the company
- **Draft contracts and commercial terms for suppliers**
- **Analyse contracts and commercial terms for clients**
- Services / equipment procurement
- Maintain the client’s procurements sites updated (e.g. Ariba for Vestas and SGRE)
- Laise with the clients via procurement sites
- Contract implementation performance tracking together with finance manager
- Creating and maintaining accurate customer information in internal systems, including documentations from meetings
- Oversee and manage contracts, including risks, revenue, and client relationships.
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders

**Skills requirements**:

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- A creative mindset and a “can do” attitude, always finding solutions and never give up.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Result oriented and able to set priorities, finalize tasks, and meet goals.
- Technical skills (**is a plus**) required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements, such as using software programs and machines
- Current knowledge of industry regulations and trends, **is a plus**
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments
- Knowledge of finance, invoicing, and scheduling systems - _**critical**_
- Inspiring personality, strong interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate
- Ability to solve problems quickly and react to situations in a calm and effective manner
- Ability to be a team player with a high level of dedication and passion

Education and training requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or engineering
- Computer literate: MS Office package including exceptional skills in **PowerPoint and Excel - **_**critical**_

Experience requirements:

- Prior experience with business-to-business sales (at least 3 to 5 years in the market) and a demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals
- Knows South African renewable energy market **is a plus**.
- Good proven track record and contacts in the market.

You must have the ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients**. **Estimated regional travel is up to 30%.
