Operational Recruitment and Training Manager

**Role summary**
**Key responsibilities**
- Preparing and presenting technical training for staff and with specific responsibilities as SAIPA evaluator for SAIPA trainees;
- Preparing and presenting soft skill training where needed;
- Support with recruitment;
- Support with on-boarding of new staff;
- Preparing and reviewing assignments for SAIPA trainees;
- Ensure that SAIPA trainees’ logbooks are up to date and competencies are signed off in a timely manner;
- Acting as mentor and role model for trainees on the SAIPA program;
- Liaising with the line managers of the SAIPA trainees and obtaining a clear understanding of the trainees’ responsibilities within the working environment;
- Liaising with the human resources department and the South African Institute of Professional Accountants on ad hoc admin matters;
- Obtaining a clear understanding of what the South African Institute of Professional Accountants expects of the trainees on the training program.
**Skills / experience**
- Professional qualification - CA(SA) or registered SAIPA member in good standing with the relevant professional institution;
- Strong technical skills;
- Passion for training and the ability to motivate trainees;
- Keen interest in the mentoring and development of young professionals;
- Highly proficient English speaker with concise writing ability;
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently;
- Structural and detail orientated;
- Strong interpersonal skills.
