Role Purpose

Reporting into Human Capital Executive in Momentum Life, this role will create and drive the transformation strategy aligned to the people and business strategy and outcomes in and across Momentum Life with the aim of achieving MMH's transformation strategy.
Requirements
- Degree in Social Sciences, Human Resources, Law or Commerce
- Project management qualification is advantageous
- Experience relating to Data analytics and Excel (preferable on level 3)would be preferred and is advantageous
- 5 Years business and transformation experience in an insurance or financial services environment
- Experience in leading and managing change and transition within a business
- Knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. Employment Equity Act, BBBEE Codes of Good Practice, Skills Development Act, etc.
- Experience in B-BBEE performance management
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the divisional quarterly business review and ensuring that the data presented is accurate and correct, partnering with the relevant Human Capital Leads to collate their contribution and co-ordinating the review with the project co-ordinator on a quarterly basis.
- Keep abreast of trends, legislation and best practices within the transformation field in order to optimise service delivery.
- Co-create and contribute to the development of the transformation strategy for Momentum Life in alignment with group strategic objectives.
- Champion and drive the achievement of the transformation strategy and influence key stakeholders to implement initiatives that focus on contributing towards the Group’s B-BBEE scorecard.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving B-BBEE performance in Employment Equity and Skills Development in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Agree with and set business unit specific transformation targets (which will roll up into the Momentum Life) targets for Employment Equity, Skills Development and Preferential Procurement in collaboration with stakeholders and in line with Group Transformation targets.
- Monitor and report the BU and segment's performance against set targets at the relevant forums and meetings.
- Continuously improve the quality, accuracy, integrity and value of the transformation data.
- Ensure all divisional data is consolidated timeously to develop internal scorecard
- Consolidate accurate group internal scorecard for inclusion in Transformation Forum and Board pack
- Keep records of consolidations with all information utilized to draft scorecard
- Assist with BU/divisional internal B-BBBEE audit process
- Facilitate and Assist in preparation for DoL inspections when required
- Conduct monthly analysis of the data to ensure correctness, update and correct were required and to align to the business strategy by playing a consultative role with stakeholders to ensure execution of the strategy
- Contribute to MMH's BBBEE scorecard reporting by measuring and reporting on Employment Equity, Skills Development and if any ESD and SED related initiatives for the BU/division and segment in line with Group reporting.
- Contribute to and utilise a common framework for reporting BBBEE initiatives that facilitates consistency and efficiencies.
- Provide guidance and direction to stakeholders on matters related to transformation, and BBBEE regulations.
- Creating awareness on talent and retention needs, support and partnering with Human Capital on talent strategies.
- Support the preferential procurement process and provide management information and insights regarding suppliers.
- Manage and coordinate the Transformation Forums (TF)and any culture forums within each BU in MomLife ensure that it complies with legislative requirements and MMI standards.
- Report to MomLife Exco on Transformation Forum activities, focuses as well as progress towards the implementation of the Transformation plan/outcomes/strategy.
- Facilitate and support management in the development, implementation and achievement of the EE plan/agreed targets.
- Monitor and track the achievement of EE plan/targets and proactively make recommendations to ensure targets are achieved.
- Advocate and drive transformation within the business and coach and guide and partner with the HC team, business stakeholders and TF forum to comply with the EE Act, FSC and related processes.
- Collate, compile and analyse information to populate the relevant Transformation reports on overall BBBEE performance for the segment.
- Track and monitor the Skills Development expenditure for the segment and partner to drive recommendations to ensure Skill Development strategies are achieved.
