We are looking to appoint a Customer Service Agent in the Operations Department. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. You will fulfil the necessary requirements within the Department to meet the Company’s objectives by providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Department and Office.

**KEY JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Accurately operate the Warehouse Management System.
- Check and produce accurate relevant documents timeously.
- Capturing of all customer information for pre-advice etc.
- Liaising with truck drivers, external customers and checkers.
- Reporting any discrepancies and non-conformances to avoid incorrect or damaged inventories.
- Complying with all required standards such as Occupational Health & Safety, Food standard HACCP, GMP's & Operational procedures (SOP's) etc.
- Ad hoc duties.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum qualification: Matric with additional Customer Service Course or related field.
- Experience: 3 years’ experience in related field.
- Warehouse Management system experience - good understanding of stock takes & warehouse locations.
- Proven Computer skills.
- Shipping and Freight environment experience advantageous.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Able to work weekends and overtime.
- Ability to work under pressure.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
