**JOB SUMMARY**:
All Westside Trading’s Work Instructions (WI), policies and procedures relevant to this job function must be adhered to, always. Your Job description is not limited to the responsibilities below and you will be required to perform other reasonable tasks and assume other reasonable responsibilities in line with your position.
**MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS**:
**1. **Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries and concerns to both employer and employees as well as responding in a timely and accurate manner ensuring complete follow-through.
**2. **Administer HR-related documentation, such as leave forms, grievance forms etc.
**3. **Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, leave and warnings.
**4. **Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
**5. **Coordinate training and ensure maintenance of training and development records.
**6. **Facilitate internal training of SOP’s, Work Instructions (WI) of all staff.
**7. **Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
**8. **Ensure effective administration of training processes and policies through regular evaluations on staff performance.
**9. **Assist in compiling documents for BBBEE submissions and audits.
**10. **Compile attendance registers daily and ensure maintenance of toolbox talk registers effectively for all shifts.
**11. **Maintain schedule and coordinate calendar for all HR related activities.
**12. **Assisting higher level HR staff with any other administrative tasks as and when they arise.
**Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience**:
- Human Resource Diploma/Degree and or Relevant Qualification
- Proven experience as an HR administrator or other HR position (1-2 years)
- Knowledge of HR functions (Recruitment, Training & Development etc.)
Skills and Inherent Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
- Organized and efficient in daily tasks.
- Driver’s License
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bellville, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- Diploma (required)
**Experience**:
- Human resource administration: 2 years (required)
