Our client within the FMCG industry is seeking the expertise of a Risk Controller to join their team in Durban area to ensure business operates in a lawful and ethical manner and provide management with integrated risk management service and support.

**The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include**
- Risk Management - Coach / Guide / Facilitate of Risk Management and Control Strategy to minimize risks, losses and exposures, Forensic Audit, Protection Installations
- Security Management including Fraud Stock Loss Investigations, reduce Risks and Losses
- Insurance - ensure CI and Insurance Fund is protected, Monitoring Insurance Claims and Costs
- Occupational Health and Safety - Ensure Compliance, Monitor and Report on Occupational Health, Ensure Effective SHE Management System
- Environmental - Corrective Actions, Maintain Environmental Management Programme
- Legal Compliance
- Fire and Explosion Protection - Ensure risks are adequately addressed, Ensure employees are prepped in case of emergency
- Contractors - Ensure contractors go through SHE induction, Audits

**Qualification**
- National Diploma in Risk Management or equivalent

**Experience**
- 3+ years’ experience in Risk Management within Industrial or FMCG environment.
- Experience with Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Security Management, Investigations (Fraud, Thefts), Case Docket Compilation for hearings, Dust / Gas / Sugar / Explosion / Fire Protection, Environmental Compliance etc.
- Expert advisor, consultant and providing Audit Services in all above-mentioned disciplines
