**IT Risk Management**

Assist in finding practical and cost-effective solutions to identified or revealed security and risk issues.

Building and maintaining strong and positive working relationships and effective means of communication with other assurance functions.

Providing direction and guidance in the development, implementation, and communication of risk-related policies and standards

Undertaking risk reviews of the IT control framework
*
Evaluating alternative means of reducing the Bank’s exposure to catastrophic loss
*
Providing technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers
*
Providing aggregated risk supervision for various high impact areas of IT services for core components of IT risk measurement and reporting activities

**Risk Management General**

*
Logging, investigating and monitoring of Financial and Regulatory Incidents

*
Incident reporting and analysis including the impact on risk profiles.

*
Maintaining Risk dashboards for all risk types.

*
Development, monitoring and reporting on key risk metrics and key statistics for all risk types.

*
Maintaining, updating, and assessing divisional risk registers.

*
Maintaining, updating, and assessing strategic risk registers.

*
Development of models and reports for the enhancement of financial risk management, monitoring and reporting.

*
Policy update, maintenance and creation where required.

*
Development of risk frameworks for individual risk types.

*
Maintenance of Risk dictionary/inventory.

*
Obtain an understanding of regulatory requirements and identify gaps in implementation.

*
Assistance in completion of additional tasks that the Risk Management Division is or may become responsible for.

*
Being involved and gaining exposure to the monitoring of non-financial risks. Including management of relecant investigations; reporting and determining remedial actions when required.

*
Risk Appetite and Tolerance reporting and monitoring.

*
Assisting with tasks related to implementation of the RDARR project, as allocated by the RDARR project Manager.

*
Reviewing risk registers and performing risk assessments required by the new product approval process.

IT Governance*

Review of alignment of IT strategic initiatives

Assessing IT process maturity and identifying areas of improvement

Review of IT Governance artefacts

Reporting*

*
Assist and prepare SARB reporting requirements

Assist with preparation of other reports where required.

Prepare reports for Board and subcommittees. This includes risk reorting packs, returns, presentations, etc.

Assist in the creation and enhancement of risk reports.

Combined Assurance Forum*

Update risk related reports to be submitted to the Combined Assurance Forum.

Ensure that Risk accepted register is kept up to date.

Ensure the risk management assurance plan is kept up to date.

Ensure the Combined Assurance Framework and terms of reference are kept up to date

Business Continuity & Disaster recovery*

Being involved in Disaster Recovery & BCP tests, interfacing and assisting between IT and Business Departments and looking for improvements.

Involved in enhancement of BCP plans and testing in line with industry requirements and involved in the Disastar recovery incident management.

Recovery Plan*

Ongoing maintenance and input into the recovery plan.

Ensuring that recovery plan documentation is kept up to date.

Ensuring that the recovery plan is communicated to key stakeholders of the bank
