**National Sales Manager (Backup Power, Renewables, Telecommunication & IT) - Longmeadow, Modderfontein - R70 000.00 - R75 000.00**

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a sales team and driving revenue growth in these areas. Ensuring that the company's products and services are effectively promoted and delivered to customers, contributing to both revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

**Requirements**:

- 5-10 Years experience in the Backup Power, Renewables, Telecommunication & IT industry
- Solid Knowledge of UPS & Backup Power products and markets
- Stable employment track record/not a job hopper
- Strong Management capabilities
- Fluent in Afrikaans & English
- Own transport & Valid driver’s license

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales Strategy Development**:Develop and implement sales strategies for UPS systems, backup power solutions, and solar products. This includes setting sales targets, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
- **Team Management**:Lead and manage a team of sales professionals. This includes hiring, training, setting performance goals, and providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including data centers, businesses, and residential customers looking for backup power or solar solutions.
- **Market Research**:Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs. Use this information to identify market opportunities and tailor products and sales approaches accordingly.
- **Sales Presentations**:Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, explaining the benefits of your products and services, and addressing customer concerns or objections.
- **Sales Forecasting**:Accurately forecast sales volumes and revenues, helping the company to make informed decisions regarding production, inventory, and resource allocation.
- Quoting and Proposals: Prepare and present quotes and proposals to potential customers, ensuring they are competitive and meet customer requirements.
- **Contract Negotiation**:Negotiate contracts with clients, including pricing, terms, and service level agreements.
- **Revenue Growth**: Develop and implement strategies to grow sales revenue, which may include expanding into new markets, identifying new customer segments, and upselling to existing clients.
- **Technical Support Collaboration**: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the delivery and installation of UPS, backup power, and solar systems meet the client's requirements and expectations.
- **Compliance and Regulations**:Ensure that all sales activities comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, particularly in the case of solar systems, which may involve understanding and staying current with local and national incentives, permits, and regulations.
- **Reporting and Metrics**:Create and maintain regular sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team and individual performance and provide feedback to higher management.
- **Customer Feedback and Improvement**: Gather customer feedback and market insights to improve the products and services offered. Advocate for product improvements or new offerings based on customer needs.
- **Budget Management**: Manage the sales department's budget, including expenses related to sales activities, marketing, and sales team compensation.
