**Job Advert Summary**:
The HR Generalist: is an HR Proffessional with extensive experience in the full employee life cycle and best practices in Human Resources. IR management experience will be critical in this role, especially the ability to execute on multiple contracts.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in a generalist Human Resource
- Able to work independently and report progress and results to a
- Excellent HR and project management
- Positive professional attitude, team player, capable of working well with a vast array of employees and
- Advance experience with HR management tools and methods to include risk management, strategic planning and change

**Knowledge and know-how specifi to the job**
- Must have a sound knowledge and understanding of HR Legislation as well as related and relevant HR policies and procedures.
- Must have working knowledge and understanding of Remuneration and Employee Benefits, Talent Management and Change
- Must have a working knowledge and understanding of Data Analytics and
- Must have working knowledge and understanding of HR Systems, Microsoft Office Products and similar

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
The role is responsible for the full human capital operations functions for our Industrial Business Unit. You will act as a business partner and first line expert on the full employment cycle across all functional and operational areas within the business unit. Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring employee data integrity across all people management systems, the use of Human Capital technology and systems to Analyse and interpret relevant people information to enable decision making across functional and operational areas at BU level
- Actively participate in the selection process, in collaboration with line management to ensure that the business attracts the right caliber of employees for current and future requirements
- Managing the on-boarding process for the BU to ensure that new employees are properly integrated into the business and have the best possible on-boarding
- Understanding all remuneration and benefits principles, policies and procedures and ensure clear explanation to employees and line
- Co-ordinating the BU’s learning and development needs analysis for input into the company’s broader Skills Development and Learning and Development strategy
- Facilitating talent management in the head office environment, including succession planning, career management and staff movements in line with the people strategy
- Supporting employee engagement and communication in the head office environment
- Ensuring effective, sound employee relations, compliance with labour laws and HR policies and
- Participating in the transformation journey, including coordinating employment equity and skills development
