Training Coordinator

**SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSBILITIES**
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for administering a training needs analysis in-line with established processes, advising employees on available learning opportunities, coordinating skills development nominations and registrations, scheduling training related activities as per the organisational training plan, ensuring
compliance with established guidelines, providing learner support, and maintaining accurate training records. This position is available in Roodepoort.
**REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE**:
**Minimum Education**:
- Grade 12 & National Diploma in HRM or Diploma in ETDP
**Additional Qualifications**:
- Skills Development Facilitator certificate or related
**Minimum Work Experience**:
- 2-3 years’ experience in Training and Development
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Conduct training needs analysis to determine competency training requirements.
- Update the company’s training matrix to plan, track and manage employee training.
- Compile Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports.
- Submission of Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports to the relevant SETA (MerSETA)
- Ensure that grants are received as per agreements with SETA’s.
- Liaise with SETA’s to identify strategic industry programmes and funding opportunities
- Coordinate and communicate training schedule and logistics as per the training matrix to achieve performance objectives.
- Action training requests from line management
- Promote and implement skills development within the organisation as per Training policy.
- Identify, vet, and assess training providers and their product offering to assist with training
- needs and relevant accreditations.
- Conduct comprehensive training record keeping activities.
- Compile regular and Ad hoc management reports.
- Compile succession plans, career paths and Individual Development Plans.
