**Role Purpose**

The purpose of this role includes the management of existing relationships with clients as well as establishing new relationships should that become necessary. The Marketing Manager is a new role within Investo and is aimed to provide a variety of management and professional support outcomes, across the IT, Implementation, and Operations focus areas, with an emphasis on people, process, and technology performance management, operational efficiency, and effectiveness. The incumbent will coordinate and lead a number of activities that are directly under the responsibility of the Head of Marketing, as well as serve as an internal consultant and change agent within the organization to support and/or lead a variety of initiatives aimed at increasing operational excellence.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Management or Marketing
- 8 - 10 years experience in operations, marketing, logistics, and/or project management
- Knowledge of distribution channels and financial planning franchising

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Plan, implement and execute operational requirements to support business strategy
- (Internal Process)- Management of relationships between Investo and Channel.
- Drive the development of integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that maximizes the effectiveness of the sales force and business development activities
- Timeous management of product implementation communication and other touchpoints to Channel.
- Initiate and support marketing campaigns on behalf of the Investo to the channel.
- Gathering the necessary information from Investo that might have an impact on the channel.
- Marketing support to the Channel enablement Specialists where necessary.
- Implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for Investo to Channel.
- Engage, monitor, influence and work closely with the full marketing value chain to deliver high-quality marketing initiatives- Collaborate in the development of the Investo Value Proposition
- Assist in developing a holistic Investo promotional strategy aimed at positioning the Investo value proposition and?
- Drive the communication of the key differentiating aspects in the market.
- Drive marketing initiatives that are aligned with Retail (Group?) Marketing to ensure effective achievement of Investo objectives and sales targets.
- Operationally manage all Investo marketing initiatives to ensure successful implementation
- Drive marketing plans per channel, province, and region
- Collaborate and create a detailed channel-specific marketing calendar
- Coordinate marketing deliverables within specific sales channels
- Represent marketing on specific sales channel forums, and manage feedback and action points
- Influence and request specific marketing activities and support per channel
- Create and manage the roll-out of ad hoc campaigns to drive sales channels objectives
- Support all planner marketing requirements to drive business objectives
- Develop relationships and promote partnerships with Agency partners
- Define and co-create recognition programs for the sales channels to drive appropriate sales and marketing behaviors
- Develop measures for operational excellence in the network/channel and develop a reporting framework for tracking these measures.
- Manage a comprehensive workflow process within the Marketing Team, ensuring timeous and accurate service delivery.
- Engage with clients in a client-centric manner
- (Client Services)- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders that promote cross-delivery practice solutions.
- Contribute to sustaining a competitive edge through external networking and benchmarking and representation on related forums.
- Define fair and innovative client service practices which build rewarding relationships, and allow the team to provide exceptional client service.
- Contribute to the design of client journeys that result in a superior client experience.
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to identify changing client needs and align service offering with client needs.
- Participate and contribute to a culture that builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback, and provides exceptional client service
