Payroll Administrator

**Primary Purpose**
The successful incumbent will be responsible for capturing all staff information on the payroll system and ensuring the information is captured correctly to ensure data integrity and accurate payments.
**Minimum Requirements**
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Administration diploma (Ideal)
Experience
- 2 years' payroll administration experience
- +5 years' payroll experience (Ideal)
**Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
ADMINISTRATION
Timeous administration function
- Run end to end payroll processes for all areas dedicated per portfolio
- On-boarding & off-boarding
- Administer terminations and ensure leave payout is done correctly, and any other transactions relating to terminations
- Work closely with HR Team on all matters relating to Employees
- Submit month end reports timeously to all relevant parties
- Capture all staff related changes on a daily basis
- Act as the liaison between the relevant parties (Discovery & Kaelo) in terms of administration
- Load withdrawals on Alexander Forbes scheme by 30th monthly
- Capture all overtime, claims, commissions (where applicable) related information for staff onto payroll to ensure correct payments are made
- Acting as the first line of queries for staff and resolve within agreed service timelines
- Loading beneficiaries on payroll for medical aid and pension fund
- Capture transactions on Direct Transact & GPO (systems for releasing payments) and ensure accuracy
- Responsible for loading administration for maternity leave - UI19 and UI2.7, place relevant documents on u
- filing and acknowledgement of debt forms
- Prepare documents that come from HR for UIF
- At month end - prepare garnishee payments, update loan schedules eg bursary payments that need to be repaid. Check schedule and follow up on bad debt, hand over to credit when necessary
- Proactively deal with Payroll queries daily
- Assist Audit department when they request information (Internal & external Auditors)
- Escalate queries to Payroll Officer and Payroll manager when necessary
- GLM distribution to Management

- Assist all staff with payroll queries proactively and provide feedback within agreed upon timelines (SLA).
- Raising queries with the Payroll Officer / Manager where necessary and learning from queries to upskill yourself
- Dealing with third parties in a professional manner, providing information requested and dealing with queries

Zero tolerance on errors
- Ensure zero error rate to limit financial losses to Bidvest Bank, Bidvest Life, BMS
