**Valor Hospitality Partners is recruiting a Head of Human Resources from the hospitality industry to join our head office in Cape Town, based at the Waterfront. (Travelling will be required into Africa)**

Valor Hospitality Partners, a leading hospitality management company, is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources to join our team in Cape Town, at the iconic Waterfront. We are looking for an individual with a profound understanding of the hospitality labor force, training and development, organizational culture, performance management, and a willingness to travel when required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Talent Acquisition and Recruitment**:

- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- ** Training and Development**:

- Design and execute comprehensive training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Identify opportunities for professional development and career advancement within the organization.
- ** Organizational Culture**:

- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- ** Performance Management**:

- Develop and implement performance management systems to drive employee productivity and excellence.
- Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations and goal setting.
- ** Employee Relations**:

- Address employee concerns and ensure a fair and respectful working environment.
- Resolve conflicts and facilitate communication between management and staff.
- ** Compliance and Legal**:

- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Manage HR policies and procedures to align with legal requirements.
- ** Benefits Administration**:

- Oversee the administration of employee benefits and ensure compliance with company policies.
- ** Employment Equity**:

- Actively promote and implement employment equity initiatives within the organization.
- Ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **_ Proven experience as an HR Manager in the hospitality industry._**:

- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
