**Job Desciption**:
Novus Print, a division of Novus Holdings, is currently looking for a customer focused Sales Manager. The scope of this opportunity goes beyond that of a traditional Sales Manager. We are looking for a person that thinks like an entrepreneurially focused business owner. The incumbent will be required to support and add value to the management team of the business unit based in City Deep and the wider Novus Print division, reporting to the Group Executive: Sales & Marketing. A high regard for structured business processes and forethought is required. The successful incumbent will be required to identify and develop new business opportunities within Gauteng, as well as manage business relationships with existing clients with a large focus on generating new business opportunities, in order to grow the Novus Print client base. An understanding of the sales process in the print environment, the ability to clearly demonstrate products and services spanning both Heatset and Coldset print processes to existing and potential customers will be required. The position entails the management of the entire Sales and Client Services function at the business unit.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Create and achieve the regional Sales budget
- Produce market related product pricing
- Actively source new clients, building new client relationships and manage the CRM pipeline process
- Service and retain existing clients and develop these relationships
- Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports
- Close deals and oversee the execution of the contracts
- Provide customer sales service and develop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers
- Display an understanding of the sales process and ensure its implementation
- Ensure the achievement of all sales activity objectives
- Present business cases and handle objections
- Create and be accountable for all client contracts, proposals, presentations and any other documentation
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities across the Novus Print national footprint

**Educational Requirements**:

- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or related tertiary qualification, but not essential.

**Experience Requirements**:

- At least five years’ field sales experience
- Previous work experience within the print or manufacturing industry is essential
- Must have a drive for closing deals and getting new business using a hands-on approach
- Driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- Knowledge of financial and business management principles
- Result driven
- Customer focused
- Sound analytical abilities both verbal and numerical
