Strategic Support Manager

To support the CEO and executive team in the coordination of the project management and monitoring and evaluation of strategy and performance.
**This is done by**:
- Coordinating, project managing and monitoring performance against strategy (through updated, regular and consistent reports on APP)
- Co-ordinate regular reporting from Executives to CEO, to ensure CEO is kept abreast of critical developments in each Executive’s branch / area of responsibility and oversight
- Managing reporting & governance on key organisational performance metrics.
- Monitoring and coordination of strategic initiatives and projects.
- Oversee various aspects in support of the CEO, such as presentations, reports, interactions with reports and scheduling
- Interact with the executive team to identify and address any issues that may arise
- Performing other duties as assigned by the CEO to achieve the strategy, ensure smooth operations and deliver on the mandate
**Perfomance Coordination and Project Management**:
- Assist the CEO in planning the agenda and format of the strategy review sessions, distribute the agenda, preparation guidelines and templates for the Annual Performance Plan and Annual Operational Plan to the attendees.
- Provide guidance and assistance to functional executives and management for the completion of the preparation of a draft Annual Performance Plan and Annual Operational Plan for the strategy review sessions.
- Assist the executive team members to determine and prioritise business strategies based on their operational plans.
- Monitor the implementation of the Annual Performance Plan and Annual Operational Plan.
**Qualifications Required**:
- B Degree or equivalent (NQF level 7) in relevant field, e.g., in Business Management, Operations Management, Commerce, Water and Energy Sector related
**Advantageous/Ideal Qualifications**:
- Post-Graduate Degree or equivalent (NQF level 8) in relevant field, e.g., Business Management or Postgraduate Diploma in Public Management, Water and Energy Sector related
**Must Have Experience**:
Four years’ experience the following fields:
- Strategic Planning
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Enterprise Reporting
- Project Management
- Corporate Governance
- Two years at middle management Energy or Water Sector experience
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
**Salary**: R85,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Parktown, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
