Technical Sales Regional Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to close new opportunities in existing and major accounts.
- Lead and mentor a team of District Representatives, champion corporate initiatives, and plan and lead portions of district meetings.
- Build strong relationships with current and prospective customers, understanding their business needs and recommending improvement plans.
- Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving challenges to ensure optimal performance.
- Actively promote innovative technologies to foster long-term business relationships.
- Partner with Corporate Account Managers to close strategic, multi-location corporate accounts.
- Stabilize jeopardy business in large, strategic accounts and expand market share through strategic planning.
- 50% overnight travel required
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8 years of technical sales or field sales support experience
- Possess a valid Driver's License
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
- Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience needed
