**Job Advert Summary**:
**PURPOSE**:

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Customer, Stakeholder and Client Relationship Management**
- Customer service is the Companies Operational (Co-op) primary focus in providing food, goods and services to its customers. It is the goal of staff that all customers are treated in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Ensure that Facilities systems meet the needs of our internal customers i.e., Stores.
- Assists customers with product/procedure questions in a prompt, and courteous manner, referring them to other staff when necessary.
- Coordinate Facilities staff customer service trainings.
- Generally knowledgeable about all products with a focus on goods distributed by the co-op internally and externally.
- Provide solutions to customer queries
- Support and help ensure GreenStar maintains a diverse and equitable work environment.
**Safe and Healthy Work Environment**
- Adhere to all health and safety practices and promote good housekeeping on an ongoing basis
- Address all unsafe practices and potential hazardous situations and rectify/ report to superior
- Comply with Safety Health Environment and Community (SHEC) and technical requirements
- Follow GreenStar safety rules.
- Assist other employees in safety needs
- Report unsafe equipment and conditions to the Facilities Manager and Safety Manager.
- Participate in safety training programs, assist with accident investigation.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
**Technical Support**
- Direct daily Facilities operations of the Co-op, analysing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
- Coordinate with department staff related to maintenance projects and ongoing preventative maintenance schedules.
- Manage resources including work assignments, trainings, cross

- Develop and uphold performance standards for all Facilities staff.
- Schedule Facilities staff according to weekly labour budget and quarterly cost of labour.
- Ensure Facilities staff are scheduled to best meet the needs of the Co-op.
- Facilitate regular check ins with Facilities staff.
- Ensure respectful and friendly service to internal and external customers
- Collaborate with Facilities Manager and Safety Managers to create and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for store equipment ensuring refrigeration vents and condensers are cleaned on a routine basis.
- Ensure maintenance of delivery vehicles and equipment.
- Along with the Facilities department, ensure maintenance of operational equipment (vehicles, refrigeration etc.) in that equipment is kept in clean/working order. Advise appropriate co-workers of equipment problems or needs.
- Coordinating of outside services such as pest control, cleaning, and linens etc.
- Coordinate outside contractors as needed for maintenance, repair and new construction
- Contribute to the oversight of Facilities procedures.
- Ensure invoices are coded and submitted to the Finance Department in a timely manner.
- Track and compile utility and waste system usage as directed by the Facility Manager. Compile and report on energy usage and waste stream at each location in a co-op database.
- Participate in annual budget process for maintenance, repair and improvements, sustainable grounds keeping, buildings and machinery.
- Work with Facilities staff to keep within budget.
- Demonstrate regular, predictable work attendance.
- Track Facilities inventory ensuring product and supplies are ordered as needed.
- Attend to routine store and grounds maintenance, suggesting outside contractors as needed.
- Ensure that all projects and ongoing services stay within budgetary limits.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements as they pertain to our facilities operations.
