Manage Engine Ticketing service
- Prioritize incidents based on the severity of the incidents
- Each Sub-Category has an SLA timer by which time the call must be resolved, should this not be possible due to outstanding feedback, change the status of the call to reflect same and add notes
- Correct the Category and Sub-Category should the end user have selected the incorrect data
- Calls to be acknowledged timeously, and feedback provided to the end user from the call on Manage Engine
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Escalate calls to vendors and follow up on open calls until resolved
- Add notes on the call should telephonic assistance be provided
- Ensure systems down time is kept to a minimum
- Laptop installation of new users to be done should a IT Technician not be available
- Purchase Order
- Obtain 3 quotations from 3 vendors and provide the Head of Department of the end user the quotations to review and choose a quotation
- Create a new purchase order on Manage Engine
- Ensure all fields are correctly completed
- Request approval from the Head of Department of the end user that requested the purchase
- Send purchase order to the vendor to order the equipment
- Follow up on the delivery and inform the Asset Administrator of the new assets
- Obtain invoice and ensure payment is made by Finance
- Assets
- Ensuring all movements from the storeroom are recorded and approved as per the Asset Flow
- Ensure all new assets purchased on Manage Engine is communication to the Asset Administrator
- Report any unauthorized and misuse of company assets
- General
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organisation
- Comprehend end user requirements and make appropriate recommendations
- Build positive relationships with end users and Vendors
- Manage time effectively
- Saturday and public holiday overtime are required on a rotational basis
- Additional duties as required
**Qualifications**:Matric
A+ or N+ certification MCSE preferable, ITIL V3 certification optional
**Experience**:Minimum 1 years Helpdesk support related experience
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Good general knowledge of hardware peripherals & trouble shooting skills
- Minimum one or more years experience in a service desk, call center or other technical support role.
- Good communication and people skills
- 2 years knowledge of MS operating system & products (Windows 7, XP and Office packages)
- Sufficient maturity in interpersonal development needed to contend with potential difficult situations and users
