**Job Purpose**:

- Reports to the National Sales Manager ensuring that all business and subsidiary, customers relationships are maintained and efficiently completed. To meet customer service and sales goals that help deliver the companies growth and sales strategies. This will involve store visits, optimising visit schedules to ensure maximize utilisation of working time, ensuring that product is presented correctly, maintaining sales systems with customer and vist data as well all other associated sales and administrative tasks that help optimise overall customer satisfaction and sales.

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Deliver on sales objective to ensure that overall sales targets are met.
- Visiting stores for the regions allocated. Maximising on both existing lines and upselling to customers.
- Ensuring “boot stock” and stands are on hand, well planned and all stock held is cared for.
- Ensuring product placement in store is excellent. That stands are organised and cleaned and positioned to optimise sales.
- Responsible for inventory management where applicable (mostly "boot stock"); ensuring adequate stock levels are always maintained; inventory tracking schedules are updated and monthly stock takes are completed.
- Responsible for ensuring that all sales invoices are raised.
- Support the office with debt collection when required to ensure that aged debtors does not rise above the average of the last 3 months' sales levels.
- Assess stores for new sales and avoid selling to “dud” stores. When new stores are landed, ensure excellent follow up service.
- Demonstrate a professional and collaborative relationship with all other staff, ensuring at all times that any information requested is provided in a timely fashion.

**Generic Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Hitting sales targetsMaintaining excellent relationships with store staff/owners

3. Optimizing the route planning

4. Maximizing in-store sales

5. Ensuring goods are presented as best possible in-store

6. Managing sales system (Skynamo) correctly - providing comments/feedback

7. Communicating effectively with the office staff.
- To contribute to the continuous improvement of the business and its subsidiary services.
- To promote a supportive and welcoming environment where all people are treated with dignity and their identity and culture are valued and respected.
- Apart Distribution (Pty) Ltd will keep its structures under continual review and as a result, the post holder should expect to carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the level of the post.
- Ensure continual self-improvement by engaging with new ways of working and encompassing any training into everyday ways of working.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is delivered.
