Learning and Development Partner

As a **Learning and Development Partner** your responsibility is to manage the Learning and Development Department and ensuring that all legislative requirements are reported on. You must be able to research and develop relevant training material for the organisation and lastly ensure that skills plans and training plans are scheduled for the year.
Reporting to the** HOD: Human Resources**
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Systems**:
- Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis.
- Develop an internal system to capture learner records.
- Keeping learner records in place of all training done.
- Develop internal systems for training analysis.
- Reporting to Management on training interventions held.
- Reporting training on a Learner Management System.
- Effectively communicate with team members, trainers, and management.
- Reporting monthly on actual training done vs planned training targets.
- Implement training systems in collaboration with Subject Matter experts.
**Research**:
- Researching new ways to grow and retain talent.
- Drive the implementation of researched methodologies.
- Research and develop e-learning courses.
**Administration**:
- Devise a training strategy for the company.
- Build training programmes from scratch (from the initial idea through planning, implementation, review and outcomes analysis) and delegate work to members of the learning and development team.
- Develop Training Material
- Develop Freedom Won Academy
- Drive and Develop an LMS training system.
- Monitor and review progress of learnerships and workplace skills programs.
- Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
- Develop the training department structure.
- Ensuring that the company complies with all legislative requirements.
- Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with managers.
- Develop individualized and group training programs that address specific business needs.
- Develop training manuals that target tangible results.
- Implement effective and purposeful training methods.
- Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting business needs and improving performance.
- Assess employees skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
- Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on the organisation's goals.
- Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.
- Keep abreast of training trends, developments, and best practices.
**Reporting**:
- Submission of WSP/ATR
- Submission of Employment Equity Reporting reports.
**Essential Requirements**:
- National Senior Certificate
- NQF Level 6 Diploma / Advance certificate
- ODETDP
- 5 Years experience
- Working knowledge of WSP/ATR
- Advanced knowledge: HR/L&D
- Report Writing: Advanced
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office packages.
