**Management of Training Department**:
Create training awareness and achieve training revenue target
- Design, development and sharing of information pertaining to coffee course brochures including course content, delivery methods, venue, qualification certification, course dates and fee structures.
- Frequent communication with Sales on Training Calendar and promote Coffee Academy courses.
- Achieve training NSV target.
- Deliver training reports per quarter by Channel, Customer group by region to identify training progress or needs.
Effective management of Training and Coffee Squad Department
- Ensure regional and Head Office training academy facilities are well equipped with competent Staff to execute Ciro Coffee Academy training courses.
- Responsible to ensure actual monthly expenses don’t exceed budget or LE.
- Submit annual budget and PF for commercial review and sign off.
- Ensure sufficient resource is available to fulfill the administration function (respond to customer training inquires, facilitate the booking and payment of trainees, update the training calendar, route planning for Coffee Squad, confirm bookings).
- Invoice training and events activities within SAP.
- Partner with relevant suppliers for training, and manage the service level agreement accordingly.
- Create a competent, passionate, motivated and customer centric team to deliver the Ciro Training Strategy.
- Approve departmental overtime.
- Staff leave planning.
- Identify talent and develop career plans.
- Ensure compliance to NBL policies and procedures
Design, develop and launch training requirements within Ciro
- Support Key Accounts Managers and Regional Sales on training requirements.
- Design and develop professional training material and courses to meet business needs.
- Design and execute training programs to upskill consultants and technicians.
- Deliver a LMS training platform with secure training material for customers.
- Represent Ciro at coffee competitions, formal events and drive customer participation.
- Oversee the coffee bar and standard of excellence in coffee delivered at the coffee bar to customers during operational hours.
Promote the Coffee Squad
- Create marketing brochures to promote the coffee squad services for prospective new customers.
- Regular meetings with Key account managers and regional teams to identify needs and gaps for the coffee squad to assist with in cup coffee quality improvements and training needs at customers, must be a paid service.
**Deliver customer excellence**:
- Ensure Coffee Squad evaluations meets the requirements of Ciro and the customer (Content, Drink recipe and Configuration, Frequency of audit).
- Forward planning and scheduling of customer visits.
- Track achievement of planned schedule.
- Ensure CORE, SAP, Roadshow are configured to achieve coffee squad evaluations.
- Ensure Coffee Squad members have the correct tools and spares available and stock take is done on a regular basis.
- Request updates to SAP install base when required.
- Develop professional reporting for customers as well as Ciro management.
Coffee Quality and Blend Creation
**Customer Blend Creation**:
- Develop blend creations as required by customer
- Document blend profile (origin, taste, characteristics)
- Strategic motivation for the chosen blend.
- Source Blend samples from Premium Factory.
- Facilitate blend tasting sessions with sales and customers.
Build good working relationships with the Premium factory.
- Monthly factory visits to do a walk about and attend quality and sample tasting in the lab
- Understand the various Roasting profiles used at Ciro and their impact on Coffee taste
- Understand the Ciro Blend Profiles.
- Understand the Coffee Origin procurement plan
Be Informed about Coffee Innovation
- Research Coffee Innovation and share within Ciro.
- Conduct Competitor tasting.
- Participate in Quality tasting for Ciro Blends.
- Subscribe to relevant Coffee Industry media's to keep abreast of latest trends within the Coffee market.
