**Overview: Training Manager - Duties**
- Oversee training programmes that include web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos, and more
- Determine training needs and requirements for an organization or group by meeting with managers, talking with employees, or administering surveys, through job analysis, career paths and consultation with managers.
- Review training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance
- Modify or create course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs and develop training which produces tangible results.
- Present in-person and online training sessions or hires qualified personnel to do so
- Schedule training sessions, organizes information technology and other equipment, and manages course enrolment
- Monitor training programmes and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and makes updates as necessary
- Work with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments
- Manage costs for all programmes, productions, and publications in order to report to organization executives regarding a return on investment
- Specialize in EAW client’s industry and keep current on the activities and needs of that industry by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars
- Maintain understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods
- Introduce Learnership opportunities across the business that will service Projects as well as External Customers
**Reporting and Monitoring**
- Keep a live report of all training conducted, training planned, training shortfalls and other such information.
- Assess and track training needs and shortfalls and report to business on plans to curb the risk with training.
- Evaluate training effectiveness by assessing measurables prior and post training.
- Ensure that all training is recorded and submitted in line with all BEE and Employment Equity and Skills Development targets and requirements
