**Job Summary**: The Sales Executive plays a vital role in generating revenue and driving sales growth for our group of hotels and lodges in Cape Town. This position requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in sales. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting our properties to key market segments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Business Development**:

- Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect for potential clients within designated market segments.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize occupancy levels.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and networking activities.
- ** Client Relationship Management**:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and tour operators.
- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and follow-up meetings to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide personalized service and tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
- ** Sales Collateral and Presentations**:

- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and digital assets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position our properties in the market.
- ** Event and Group Sales**:

- Actively promote our properties as venues for meetings, conferences, weddings, and other events.
- Liaise with event planners, conference organizers, and group coordinators to secure bookings and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Coordinate site inspections, tastings, and other pre-event activities to showcase our facilities and services.
- ** Revenue Optimization**:

- Monitor market trends, demand patterns, and competitor pricing to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Implement dynamic pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to drive revenue growth during off-peak periods.
- Collaborate with revenue management and reservations teams to optimize room inventory and maximize revenue per available room (RevPAR).
- ** Sales Reporting and Analysis**:

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue performance using CRM software.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management review.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable insights to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong networking abilities with the capacity to build and maintain relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Knowledge of the Cape Town hospitality market and key tourism trends.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
