Coordination and tracking of the implementation of learning interventions

Implement and oversee the maintenance of reporting templates and project tracking tools

Verify information and documents submitted against the checklist

Ensure delivery of Learning Interventions according to project timelines

Liaise with operations and finance departments to ensure that learning interventions are delivered on time effectively

Maintain and ensure completeness of data submitted by project coordinators

Consolidate and provide project performance reports

Sign invoices and forward to finance for payment

Review, report and resolved gaps identified in the implementation of projects

Manage the maintenance of integrated commitment schedule (master)

Submit monthly and quarterly reports to planning

Monitoring and evaluate the impact of implementation of skills development initiatives

Achievement and management of theDepartment’sbusiness plans

Contribute to the development of the APP and SP

Develop operational plans for the Department

Ensure the implementation and compliance toreporting templates and frameworks

Ensure monthly reporting in the Department

Manage variances in actual vs. budgetexpenditure in all areas of accountability

Develop risk management strategies and riskregister for the Department

Develop polices, and procedures for theDepartment

Ensure clean, audit results

Handle audit queries and ensure theavailability of information for audit purposes

Manage and monitor budget in theDepartment

People management

Conduct timeous recruitment and selection of staff

Implement OrganisationsBEE targets in the Department

Implement Organisationperformancemanagement in the Department

Induct and orientate direct reports

Provide capacity building, through training,coaching and development of direct reports

Ensure that employees have clear workexpectations and goals,

Ensure attendance of staff

Manage the disciplinary of employees in theDepartment

**Qualifications**:
Matric

+ 3 Year Diploma or Equivalent in the fields of education, training and development and/or human resource management and/or project management

Experience

A minimum of 5 years’ experience, at least 3 of which should have been at management level, in the education, training and development sector

Skills and knowledge

In-depth understanding of the Organisationsbusiness

In-depth and current knowledge of skills development and national qualificationsframework legislation, SAQA regulations and QCTO delegations

Understanding of functioning of other sector institutions in the skills developmentspace

Strategic thinking and capability

Programme management

Financial management

Change management

People management

Risk management

Knowledge management

Problem solving and analysis

Compliance and governance structures

Stakeholder management and the ability to develop and maintain stakeholdernetworks,

Communication, negotiating and influencing skills,

Planning and analysis

Ability to manage and lead operations management function for the organisation

Strong management ability

Computer literacy
