Duties/Pligte- Regularly compiling financial reports on income and expenditure of the Department based on financial information recorded on the University's financial system;- Accurate administration and reconciliation of budgets, income and expenditure on the Department's cost centres for budget control and planning purposes;-
- Compiling financial reports on income and expenditure of research projects, based on the contractual agreement and expenses as recorded in relevant cost centres on the University's

financial system;Accurate and timely issuing of invoices related to research contracts in the Department;- Liaising with stakeholders and role players regarding financial management and all related tasks.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes- A relevant advanced diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Commerce, with a minimum of three years' practical accounting experience;- Relevant and proven experience in accounting and financial reporting;- Experience in working with the financial systems of large corporates or a university, specifically to draw up income and expenditure summaries for cost centres based on information

captured in the financial system;Proven ability to generate accurate and correct financial summaries in MS Excel based on data obtained from the relevant financial systems;- The ability to maintain absolute confidentiality with regards to sensitive financial information;- The ability to work effectively under time constraints, to function independently and with strong self-management, and to plan and prioritise tasks effectively;- Excellent and professional communication skills;- Computer literate in MS Office.
