Finance Clerk/administrator

An established retail business in Stellenbosch is seeking to employ an organized and driven Finance Clerk / Administrator on a full-time basis to join their current back-office Finance and Stock Management team.
Start date - As soon as possible.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in financial data capture, expense tracking, and accounts reconciliation.
- Finance related qualification will be beneficial, but not essential.
- School Math and Accountancy will be a major advantage.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools will be a “PLUS”, but not essential.
- At least 1 years admin or finance related work experience.
- Solid understanding of numbers.
- Intermediate Excel skills essential.
**Responsibilities**
- **Expense Management - **Efficiently record and categorize all financial transactions related to purchases and expenses. Ensure accuracy and completeness in tracking receipts, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
- **Account Reconciliation - **Conduct regular reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with other departments to address any outstanding issues related to accounts.
- **Data Entry and Reporting - **Input financial data into relevant systems, maintaining an organized and up-to-date database. Generate periodic financial reports to assist in decision-making processes.
- **Compliance and Documentation - **Maintain proper documentation for audits and ensure adherence to financial policies.
- **Collaboration - **Work closely with the finance team to provide support in various financial activities. Communicate effectively with other departments to gather necessary information.
**Salary: R12,000 to R15,000 / month **dependent on skills and experience.**
