Job brief
The tasks will be varied ranging from owning and managing the administrative tasks within the admin division.
Purpose of the Job
The main purpose of the job is to provide administrative support to the assigned clients linked to the portfolio and assist management and outbound consultants with administrative requests, escalations and advisory assistance.
You will be expected to take ownership and manage the tasks that are assigned to the position.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Processing and tracking all new medical aid applications and ensuring feedback is provided to the client within the stipulated turnaround time.
- Manage and track the ordering and delivery of membership cards and ensuring they are sent to the clients.
- Manage the gap cover functionality in terms of submitting applications, ensuring the members are issued with a policy document, assist with claim queries and monthly debit order rejections.
- Assist management and brokers as and when required.
- Identify new business opportunities within the client portfolio, which will support the department's new business goals and provide value added service to clients.
- Ensure compliance with all Healthcare's internal processes.
- Adhoc administrative duties assigned by Management.
- Minimum of 2 years healthcare exposure relating to Medical Aid, Medical Insurance and Gap Cover.
- Passed RE examination.
- Must have full qualification (NQF5).
- Must be accredited with Council for Medical Schemes.
- License requirements: Continuous Professional Development and completed Class of Business in Short Term Personal Lines, Health Benefits and Life license. Continuous Professional Development for registered product lines.
- Bilingualism will be an advantage.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong administrative skills and comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Strong time management and email management skills.
- Proficiency in MS office and particularly Excel is essential.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- Be able to work well under pressure and be result oriented.
