Experience required: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or client-facing roles, preferably in the food manufacturing or related industries.
Remuneration: Competitive salary and commission structure

Location: Western Cape
Travel: Frequent travel will be required within South Africa

Duties and Responsibilities include; but not limited to:
  • Manage and nurture long-term relationships with key clients in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase account revenue.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutual benefit.
  • Put promotions in place to drive sales.
  • Analyse effectiveness of promos actioned.
  • Work closely with ops manager and sales & merchandising teams and keep them posted of promo activity and new product launches.
  • Check & sign off trading term expenses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery, quality assurance, and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales performance, analyze data, and prepare reports.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and supply chain management best practices.
  • Proactively solve client issues and provide excellent customer service.
Experience & characteristics required for this role:
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues and provide creative solutions for clients.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, with a focus on driving revenue and profitability.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, with strong administrative and preparation capabilities.
