About the role

HR officers play a pivotal role in protecting the workplace and filling employee seats with qualified candidates that further a company’s culture and mission. Some HR officers are primarily responsible for corporate team building and leadership activities, while others focus on employee hiring, benefits, and retention.

Responsibilities

Responsible for administrating and coordinating all HRIS System activities for all stations.
Reconciliation and maintenance of all payroll systems and LMS for active, long-term absences and terminations.
LMS maintenance of Job Codes to functions, CURR assignments, capturing and data/document uploading
Assist with the recruitment process: Shortlisting and interviews and administration of pre-employment selection tests.
Administration of the pension/provident funds for allocated entities. This includes withdrawal claims, death claims, retirement, pension fund investment and beneficiary forms.
Administration of medical aid / medical insurance for employees.
Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures
Any other ad-hoc projects.

Candidate requirements

Have a B degree / 3-year diploma in Human Resources
Have at least 3 year’s experience in Human Resources
Knowledge of relevant HR legislation and hiring processes
Exposure and working knowledge of VIP / Sage / SAP
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet tight deadlines
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs
Organised and structured individual with sound knowledge of HR administration and coordination
Advanced Excel skills
Have own Transport
Must be flexible to work from more than one station
