Our client is looking for a highly experienced GM Operations Executive with a robust background in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or Hospitality sector. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and lead a diverse team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality experience, specifically within QSR, and be ready to relocate to the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of operations within the QSR or hospitality environment, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes to reduce costs, improve speed, and ensure quality.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality across all locations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and address any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective practices and maximizing profitability.
  • Collaborate with franchisees, suppliers, and other stakeholders to align operational goals and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements across all operations.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, with the ability to implement long-term operational strategies.
  • Deep understanding of QSR or hospitality operations, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving issues promptly.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to new cultural environments and work effectively in a diverse team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • A Masters degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational roles within the QSR or hospitality sector.
  • At least 5 years in a senior management position.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multi-unit operations.
  • Must be a South African or Indian national willing to relocate to the UK.
