Job DescriptionIn this role, your primary objective will be to generate new sales revenue utilizing a SaaS license model. This will involve executing strategic account and territory plans, identifying potential customers, implementing effective business development tactics, and engaging in field-based sales activities within specific target markets.
What you will do in this position:
- Build strong relationships with various C-suite executives (such as CFO, CIO, COO, CDO) across all product sales
- Supervise the mapping of client relationships to the account team, devising an account strategy while leading a diverse virtual team (comprising Solutions Consultants, Solutions Specialists, Success resources, Partners, Marketing, etc.)
- Act as a reliable advisor to your clients by understanding their business objectives and offering insights on how ServiceNow can support their IT strategies
- Identify and involve the appropriate specialist/support resources in deals at the right juncture
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Extensive sales background in a software or solutions sales environment
- A track record of building trusted relationships with existing and potential clients as well as cross-functional teams
- Proven experience in generating new business, negotiating agreements, and nurturing strong C-Level partnerships
- The ability to comprehend the broader implications and our initiatives related to IT
- Experience in advocating for customer success within a collaborative team setting
- Preferably, a solid network within the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Manufacturing sectors
