The Opportunity

Nutanix is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Territory Account Manager in the Enterprise and Mid-Market space. This role will focus on driving net new business sales in the assigned territory.

Our sales team at Nutanix is a dynamic and passionate group of professionals who work closely with Channel Partners and Systems Engineers to deliver innovative solutions to our customers. We are a driven team that thrives on disrupting the current state of the data center and developing new accounts and penetrating new divisions and organizations within our assigned territories.

Your Role

  • As a Territory Account Manager, you will be a key player within the Nutanix field sales team, responsible for driving net new business sales in the assigned territory.
  • You will demonstrate strong expertise in technical specifications required to sell Nutanix products and services to customers.
  • You will possess an aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems and the competitive landscape.
  • You will work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.
  • You will utilize target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques.
  • You will articulate the Nutanix value proposition, features, product messages, and positioning.

What You Will Bring

  • You will have outside software sales, quota-carrying, hunting, and successful closing skills experience.
  • You will have a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in multiple, continuous years.
  • You will have a deep understanding of the customers and partner ecosystem in the region and how the drive for simplicity, cloud-first strategies, and cost savings can build positive relationships and deliver significant sales success.
  • You will have an entrepreneurial spirit with an affinity for growth, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • You will have a keen ability to develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned accounts.
  • You will have highly organized skills with deep knowledge of account planning and strategy.
  • You will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
