JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Preferable grade 12 Certificate.
Minimum of 2 years experience preferably in a 5* Hotel.
Well spoken, written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate (Ms Office, Opera).
Excellent organizational skills.
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Customer service attitude.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Perform all front of house duties – meeting, greeting and attending to all needs of the guest.
Assist with managing the switchboard.
Ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out.
Take all guest requests and take full responsibility to ensure that it is actioned in a timely manner.
Assist with telephonic and walk-in reservations.
Administer general petty cash and float as per Finance procedure.
General office duties including correspondence, emails, filing, switchboards.
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
Well-groomed and professional.
