Executive Head: Talent Acquisition and Employer

Role purpose:
Drive Talent Acquisition and Employer Brand Strategy development and deliver operational support, aimed at increasing employee engagement, supporting the delivery of business performance, and improving overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Based on strategic initiatives, and projects identified by business units; manage the successful end to end execution & delivery of all Talent Acquisition, Assessments and Employer Brand.
- Define a robust and coherent plan to attract, recruit, & engage prospective employees in the areas of scarce & critical skills across the business
- Responsible for the service delivery of the Talent Acquisition COE to quality, timing, and cost targets.
- Responsible for Executive Recruitment
- Establish a longterm strategy and shortterm agenda for Transformation
- Build the teams capability through, acquiring the right talent, succession planning, team performance development, team motivation and being accountable for the team structure and architecture to enable delivery.
- Translate vision and strategy into tactical goals.
- Agree on overall metrics for Talent Acquisition with internal partners and stakeholders i.e. time to fill, quality and cost.
- Analysis, interpretation and distribution of monthly/quarterly/annual TA reports, demand planning/forecasting and associated costs.
- Contribute to the completion of forecasted recruitment demand working with the business and HRBP's.
- Look for innovative ways to build Vodacom EVP and work closely with the Employee Networks to achieve this.
- Act as a liaison with Vodafone on metrics relating to Diversity and Inclusion derive learnings from Vodafone
- Management of Onsite Recruitment Vendor
- Work with Region and Global Centres of Expertise to establish a global rolling 3year strategy and shortterm agenda for Talent Acquisition
- Design and implement specific initiatives, which are Talent Acquisition, Assessments and Employer Branding led within the overall local HR roadmap.
- Manage and continuously review the company's assessment strategy with a view of enhancing it where necessary.
- Continuously analyse organisational needs for assessments usage with a view to contributing to the company's development agenda
- Responsible for ensuring that a clear & consistent assessment strategy is in place, that a governance process is well developed in line with current thinking and that external service providers are held accountable for delivery of services as and when required by the company in adherence to the prevailing Service Level Agreement.
- Interact with the D&I Office on the progress of Transformation
- Bachelor's degree and professional qualifications
- Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others both internal and external to the organisation
- 10 years' experience as an HR professional and/or Talent Acquisition expert
- Minimum 8 years' experience in an HR Leadership role
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Employer Brand
- Commercially astute with proven experience in the management of resources including budget, setting strategy, and tracking performance against business objectives
- Comfortable reporting on talent/Recruitment metrics
- Knowledge of SA labour legislation and B-BBEE
- Experience in implementation of ATS and recruitment technology
