Company Secretary required by CA firm based in Century City

Remuneration:
R20,000 per month negotiable

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matriculation, further tertiary education highly beneficial.
  • 2+ years' experience in a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite; knowledge of accounting software (GreatSoft) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities will include:

CIPC administration (previous experience a minimum requirement):

  • Name reservations, company formations, MOI amendments, year-end changes
  • Securities transfers, allotments, share buy backs, director amendments and updating of details
  • Address changes, deregistration, beneficial ownership declarations

Deceased Estate Administration (previous experience a minimum requirement):

  • Communicate with financial institutions to obtain certificates and realize investments
  • Communication with the Master of the High Court

Administrative Support:

  • Prepare minutes, compile and maintain secretarial records

Documentation and Filing:

  • Organize and maintain filing systems for financial documents.
  • Manage documentation in an efficient and accessible manner.

Communication:

  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders professionally.
  • Communicate effectively within the accounting team.
