Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Business Development Team
  • Maintain client databases, including contact information, orders, and commercial documentation.
  • Coordinate and plan sales meetings and events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Provide customer service support, including client support, resolution, and queries.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of sales presentations.
  • Assist with sales training sessions and material.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of Client needs and requirements.
  • Serve as the communication link between the Business Development Team, Clients, and Internal teams.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales and adhoc reports.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients.
  • Attending to any reasonable adhoc requests
  • Respond to complaints from customers and give aftersales support if required until such time the client liaison team takes over the account.
  • Monitor the team's progress, identify shortcomings, and propose improvements.
  • Follow up/resolve queries with clients who have not paid their accounts.
  • Assist the sales team in improving productivity by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring the Business Development team has highquality, uptodate support material.
  • Preparation of quotations and proposals while updating quote register status
  • Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications, skills, and experience:

Qualifications:

  • Matric / Grade 1
  • Sales Degree or equivalent

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • The ability to multitask, work in a fastpaced environment, and meet deadlines.
  • Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations
  • Computer literacy
  • Agility
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all levels
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • The ability to work in a team and as an individual.
  • The ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Working on multiple projects at one time

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years overall sales coordination experience
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on Client needs
