REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 1
  • Most Matric Diploma/Certificate or any other qualification
  • Computer literate
  • Must have production administration experience
  • SIZA and GlobalGAP experience will be an advantage
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Experience in production farming/agricultural
  • Good interpersonal skills


Computer skills
  • MS Office, Outlook, SageX3 or Pastel Evolution
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

DUTIES INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Production administration:

  • Record keeping of activities including warehouse intakes
  • Preparation and understanding of audits (GlobalGap and SIZA advantage) as well as Health and Safety standards


Updating of records
  • Including production statistics
  • Booking of Inspections
  • Estimates and budgeting with Division Managers
  • Summary of weekly records

Human Resources

  • Training needs send to Training Officer
  • Liaise with payroll on overtime and standby hours

Purchasing/Inventory

  • Capturing of purchasing requests on Sage X
  • Follow up on outstanding Purchase Orders
  • Ensuring all required documentation are completed and sending this to the financial division for processing
  • Adhere to general financial policies

General administration functions:

  • Assisting with stock control when/if needed
  • Compilation of statistical reports when required
  • General Personal Assistant/Admin activities on a daily basis
