Job Title: Payroll Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Clerk to join our team at Farm Manager SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for employees, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
* Maintain accurate employee records in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information
* Calculate and process employee deductions, including taxes, benefits, and other withholdings
* Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and other payroll-related documents
* Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
* Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting

Requirements:

* Matric
* Payroll Certificate/finance/related field
* Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
* Packhouse experience will be advantageous
* Sage
* ERS Biometrics

Competencies and Skills:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and numerical abilities are crucial
* Excellent knowledge and computer skills (MS Office)
* Effective handling of detailed information and consistent attention to detail
* Must be a team player
* Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
* Must be able to work well under pressure
