An exciting opportunity exists at Mondi South Africa. The HR team is searching for an HR Digital Lead to join their business located in Merebank, KZN.


This position will develop the HR operations service capability and will lead digital HR transformation with the aim to change and modernize the HR landscape and effectively manage remuneration and benefits practice within Mondi South Africa.


Role Requirements:

  • BCOM Finance/Information Systems preferred.
  • Other Appropriate Degree or Post Graduate degree
  • Experience in SAP ERP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and related tools.
  • 8 years relevant experience (project management, organizational development, continuous improvement and HR technology solutions)
  • Proven record and knowhow of working with effective adoption and change management.
  • Talent that enjoys thinking conceptually and analytically with a digital mindset, whilst excelling at executing key analysis and implementations as the interface between HR and IT

Key Performance Areas:

  • Design bestinclass digital HR operating models, governance frameworks and lean HR processes.
  • Be responsible for driving Digital HR development programs and projects within Digital HR and secure alignment and standardization together with key process owners.
  • Piloting conceptual design of HR and HR IT strategies
  • Develop best practice expertise to ensure ongoing development of service delivery models and concepts
  • Ensure a high quality of enduser experience by developing HR service access
  • Supporting and implementing changes in the HR operations in the context of the organization, technology, processes, and personnel
  • Linking efficiently the processes between business, strategy, and IT
  • Provide effective and efficient reporting which enables strategic decisionmaking
