Your responsibilities and duties will be but not limited to:

  • Answering incoming calls professionally.
  • Handling queries from patients/clients respectfully and professionally.
  • Managing the diary appointment bookings.
  • Appointment reminders by "calls and sms"; and courtesy followup on patients' post procedures.
  • Capturing patients' personal and billing information on the system (Vericlaim) accurately and validating the details with the medical scheme.
  • Check funds availability for inroom consultations before consultations.
  • Receiving cash payments from patients and issuing receipts (electronic and paper receipts).
  • Electronic filling.
  • Create and communicate bed and theater bookings with the hospital.
  • Request, coordinate, and manage authorisations and daily update the authorisation number on the system until the patient is discharged.
  • Liaise with medical schemes and patients for accounts and general queries.
  • Liaise with stakeholders for the information requested to provide quality patient services.
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of patients' information.
  • Keeping the reception area, and the doctor's room neat daily.
  • Cleaning the equipment in the procedure room.
  • Other admin and adhoc duties requested.
