Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in typing and administrative tasks, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Typing and Document Management: Accurately type CVs, documents, and references with high spelling, grammar, and formatting accuracy.
  • Reception and Administration: Manage reception duties, answer incoming calls, and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Office Management: Oversee day-to-day office management, including supervising the cleaner and maintaining office supplies.
  • Financial Management: Handle petty cash and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Filing and Organization: Organize and maintain both physical and digital filing systems, ensuring easy access to important documents.
  • Event Planning: Assist in coordinating in-office events, such as birthdays and small functions, to foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively solve office-related issues and anticipate future needs to ensure seamless operations.
  • Consultant Support: Assist consultants with sourcing CVs and other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Matric certificate
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar typing or administrative role
  • A minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Fluency in Afrikaans and English (both written and verbal) is essential
  • A high level of attention to detail, particularly in spelling and grammar
  • Knowledge of Placement Partner or similar recruitment software would be ideal
  • Experience working in a recruitment environment is highly advantageous
