Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at SGS. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the operations team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Liaise with customers via telephone and email to ensure prompt and efficient handling of documents, invoices, and other instructions.
  • Assist with sample registration, handling, and distribution of results.
  • Perform reception duties, including offering refreshments to visitors and maintaining a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (read, write, speak).
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Administrative experience will be an advantage.
