JOB DESCRIPTION:

The main aim of the job is carrying out marketing and business development activities of the region and area to establish a sustainable system that will increase sales and exports of products and services.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and execution of company marketing activities, positioning of new products in the market, price analysis, competitor analysis, market share estimations and increasing brand equity in the sector
  • Developing marketing strategies and approving the budget with top management for target markets
  • To follow the product diversity, developments and changes of the rival companies abroad, the sectoral fairs and to do research by using other communication resources
  • Institutionally, To work on product development, tracking of branding processes, brand extension, identity and image, brand strategy
  • To make a preliminary assessment of all communication activities related to the corporate brand in line with communication strategies and plans, to ensure that the works planned in this direction are carried out, finalized, followed up and coordinated with the relevant units
  • To contribute to the creation of the communication strategy of the corporate brand before the target audiences, to realize the strategic, target-oriented and holistic management of the corporate brand communication
  • Reporting the advertising, print / social media activities, key business activities to country management
  • Managing marketing operations in accordance with company goals and strategies
  • Making marketing plans for new markets, auditing applications and reporting results
  • Following closely the product portfolio of domestic and foreign competitors, the developments and changes in these companies and doing research using all communication resources
  • Institutionally, following up of product development and branding process whilst working on brand expansion, brand strategy and improving brand image in the region
  • Establishing and implementing a corporate brand communication plan and activities calendar
  • In line with communication strategies and plans, pre-evaluation of all communication activities related to the corporate brand, carrying out the works planned in this direction with the relevant units
  • Likewise, ensuring the timing, finalization and follow-up of these works
  • In corporate brand communication works, managing the necessary internal and external channels (digital or traditional) regarding the corporate brand in order to ensure coordination in visual and narrative language
  • To contribute to the establishment of the corporate brand's communication strategy for target customers and to realize the strategic, target-oriented and holistic management of corporate brand communication
  • Supporting all kinds of marketing activities of domestic and foreign dealer sales channels (signboards, glass cladding, in-office visuals and catalogs, etc.)
  • Following up of abroad incentives, trademark registration and renewal procedures
  • Organizing the participation of domestic and international trade exhibitions
  • Following the sponsorship and rental works
  • Preparation of media impact reports, website management, Google AdWords and analytics processes
  • To be in coordination with magazines and newspapers for company promotion
  • Planning, preparation and reporting of under the line and above the line campaigns within the global marketing department
  • Being responsible for the communication and management of the corporate brand across the community
  • Ensuring compliance of corporate identity standards across the entire community

  • Ensuring that strategies to reduce risks are produced in order to reach the targeted market share.
  • Preparing and reporting statistical data by conducting sectoral research
  • To collect and analyze data on current and potential markets by closely following the development of the sector, to carry out profitability studies and to report

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent
  • Bachelors Degree in Economics/ Administration / Sales & Marketing / Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical) or similar

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 10 Years experience in a similar position
  • 5 Years experience in power generation industry or similar
  • 5 Years management experience
  • Domestic and international travelling required
  • Drivers license + own vehicle
  • ERP / CRM Application knowledge
