Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily and monthly reporting where necessary
  • Manage files for D.E.C, Internal Audit, and customer surveys
  • Assist Logistics staff and customers with general queries
  • Daily admin housekeeping in all offices including managing stationery and cleaning product supplies for logistics
  • Take minutes for distribution meetings
  • Handle Distribution HR matters and liaise with HR department
  • Assist with Owner Driver queries when required
  • Assist with the processing of returns before invoicing
  • Invoice of all delivery notes
  • Assist with capturing of short deliveries into the short delivery template
  • Control POD's and debriefing process and ensure registers are completed
  • Assist with Owner driver file data e.g. BEE certificates, contract details
  • Assist with collections, checking of stock, and loading of trucks
  • Take customer calls and assist with queries

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Numeracy and literacy skills
  • Computer skills working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Knowledge of ERP System
  • Good overall department timekeeping skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
  • Ability to work as an individual at times as well as in a team environment
  • Sage X3 experience will be an advantage
  • Hands on problemsolving ability
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Energetic selfstarter
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Customer Service Orientation
  • Ability to work overtime and on Saturdays/Public holidays when required
  • Minimum Matric/Grade 1 3 years' experience in similar position
