Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery of products and services
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to management
Customer Relations:
- Documentation and management of customer and principal interventions in CRM.
- Preparation of detailed quotes meeting customer requirements.
- Presentation of quality data to principals for technical support or trials.
- New business development and maintenance of product database.
- Zero stock outs and adherence to shelf life.
- Management of customer requirements and principal visits.
- Oversight of development plans for effective marketing, sales, and technical support.
- Management of customer projects, production requirements, and risks, including contingency planning.
- Interpretation of large mining house contracts and sales contracts, as well as understanding of bonding, incoterms, and customer ERP systems.
Cost Management:
- Understanding of market dynamics, product contribution, and cost targets.
- Control of stock and inventory to mitigate costs of overstocking or stockouts.
- Logistics management for cost reduction and optimal stock holding.
- Development and tracking of annual budgets, with monthly reporting and sales performance analysis.
- Implementation of strategies to meet or surpass budgetary goals.
Leadership:
- Deep understanding of customer base and requirements.
- Collaboration with production and technical teams to fulfill sales requirements.
- Presentation to shareholders and management of events such as Mining Indaba.
SHEQ Compliance:
- Proficiency in OHS Act 1983, MHI, EIA, and relevant ISO standards.
- Ensuring full SHEQ compliance, including GHS.
Requirements:
- Minimum Technical qualification in Metallurgy/Mining Ideal
- BSc. In Metallurgy, experience in floatation of Sulphide based ores.
- Driver's license, valid passport, ability to travel into Africa.
- Minimum Technical qualification in Metallurgy/Mining Ideal
- A minimum of 8 years in Mining Sales experience.
- A minimum of 8 years in Mining, flotation, sulphidebased ores processing, laboratory flotation trials.
- Good understanding of Mining in Africa, Floatation, Sulphide Based Ores, Metallurgy and Mineralogy reports.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite. Knowledge of BBBEE, FOREX, logistics, incoterms, customs, foreign trade, contracts (legal and financial).
- Develop relations with Mintec, SGS, CSIR to run trials and investigate minerology.
- Understanding the storage, handling and logistics of dangerous goods. Good commercial acumen.
