  • Catalytic Sectors

Requirements:

  • Honours degree in Economics, Marketing, Project Management or
related fields. A Master's degree will be advantageous

  • Eight (8) years' relevant experience in sector development
programmes and projects, trade as well as investment strategies and

project implementation

  • Knowledge of local government legislation and policies.
Key Performance Areas

  • Manage and coordinate the conceptualisation and
implementation of industry development programmes and projects,

as well as trade and investment strategies and interventions

  • Initiate and manage growth coalition interventions with strategic
internal and external stakeholders

  • Perform a leading role in project managing of supported
interventions

  • Build, manage and sustain relations with key internal and external
stakeholders

  • Monitor and evaluate programmes and projects aimed at
promoting priority industries in the City

  • Contribute to the general management and functioning of the
Growth Coalition Branch.
