As an Export Pricing & Market Manager, you will specialize in a specific market, driving export performance and collaborating to improve logistics solutions. Your main responsibility will be to become an expert in your designated market, working to minimize risks and ensure top-notch end-to-end services.

You will be part of a dedicated team focused on digitization and data-driven decision-making. Your role will involve setting and optimizing short-term prices for ocean products, aiming to maintain competitiveness and maximize profits for Maersk. By utilizing data analysis and forecasting, you will work closely with frontline stakeholders to make well-informed pricing decisions. This position is vital for executing asset optimization strategies and promoting continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set and optimize short-term rates to enhance trade profitability
  • Collect and refine data for pricing models and analysis
  • Align with frontline organization for execution
  • Ensure digital platforms offer relevant rates
  • Execute trade strategy aligned with global direction
  • Share market insights with Global Ocean team for product development
  • Continuously develop and optimize pricing processes and tools
  • Drive implementation of digital tools
  • Develop contracting and quoting policies to enhance customer experience

Product Development and Strategy:

  • Provide input on market growth and trends
  • Contribute to product development and features
  • Translate market direction into commercial strategy
  • Give insights on tender/ocean contract planning
  • Offer guidance on contracting position to Product Managers
  • Play an active role in logistics and services development
  • Benchmark services against competitors and drive improvement initiatives

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3 - 5 years' experience in logistics or shipping industry
  • Revenue background in ocean markets
