ICT Sales Manager is required in Johannesburg to lead and manage the sales team in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.

Must invest time in understanding industries, key players and decision makers and be intentional about opening doors for the company.

5+ Years' experience in ICT sales, with at least 3 years in a management role. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

Sales

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Lead and manage the sales team
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Provide regular reports on sales activity and progress
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and developments
  • Develop a strategy for the effective penetration of new markets
  • Identify and research opportunities that come up in new and existing markets; prepare action plans for the market, that ensure attainment of company goals
  • Efficient management of workflow procedures within areas of operational responsibility
  • Plan & coordinate all functions related to achieving growth targets
  • Collaborate closely with different departments to ensure the smooth delivery of services, identifying and managing company risks that might prevent growth
  • Ensure creative implementation for the achievement of relevant targets and objectives
  • Participate in Industry events

Customer Relations Management

  • Gain insight into the market and the client's needs, concerns and objectives profile each client to gain a better understanding of who they are and devise an approach.
  • Develop proposals, pitches and presentations that speak to the client's needs
  • Build, maintain and/or strengthen new and existing customer relationships
  • Identify and maximize opportunities for collaborations with key clients
  • Facilitate and participate in internal and external client debriefs
  • Submit monthly progress reports, forecasts and sales target reports
  • Provide updates on sales leads to Senior Management.
  • Work with the team to ensure that prerequisites (e.g., prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled

Brand Development

  • Improve the company's brand value in the market
  • Must invest time in understanding industries, key players and decision makers and be intentional about opening doors for the company.

  • Keep abreast of developments in the industry by conducting research and attending industry functions such as Webinars, events and conferences and provide feedback and information on market trends, new products, and services as well as client expectations

People Management

  • Management of the account managers.
  • Targets and Performance Management of the account management, tender and internal sales teams' business development initiatives

Requirements:

  • Matric (Senior Certificate)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years' experience in ICT sales, with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Selfstarter with highly developed interpersonal skills, decisive and result oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with fluency in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for analysing client data
  • Work well under pressure and commit to deadlines
  • Have excellent people skills and intuitive to customer's business needs
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
The company offers very competitive rates.

Salary:
R50, R60,000.00 per month
