The Manager:

Channel, Marketing, Brand, will be mandated to plan and oversee the implementation of marketing strategies across all available channels.

Develop channel-specific marketing strategies, planning marketing campaigns and managing marketing communications. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of channel marketing strategies and experience in a related industry.

Position Purpose with Specific Accountabilities:

  • Create brand awareness in developing a strong brand strategy for the company;
  • Drive Sales through Distribution channels
  • Communicating with Suppliers
  • Identifying new product lines
  • Manage and ensure Client Clients business profile is always updated
  • Ensure that Client Clients websites and other social media pages are always updated
  • Managements of Administrative staff and Officers.
  • Conduct consumer and market research;
  • Develop new channel marketing strategies and implement marketing plans to communicate a brand message;
  • Communicate brand internally and align company around foundational ideas;
  • Analyse market data, trends, consumer preferences, and competitor behaviour to optimize marketing strategies;
  • Gather marketing campaign data, evaluating the impact of strategies and reporting the results;
  • Deploy channel marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team and senior managers across the business, focusing on group implementation for all business pillars;
  • Manage all marketing campaign communications and establish strong partner networks;
  • Keeping track of and implementing the latest marketing technologies and techniques.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in marketing, business or related field;
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in channel marketing; Understanding distributor models advantageous;
  • Indepth knowledge of current marketing technologies and techniques.

Staff Leadership and Management:

  • Define the staff requirements by reviewing the workload, defining work allocations and developing job profiles as required;
  • Resource the team by retaining, recruiting, selecting and appointing staff as required;
  • Induct staff members by managing the development of an induction programme, monitoring performance and supporting the development of new staff members as required;
  • Manage the performance of staff by agreeing on performance expectations, building relationships with staff, motivating staff, providing staff with feedback, supporting staff development, addressing areas of nonperformance and implementing corrective action monthly and as required;
  • Develop staff members by consulting with staff to identify learning areas and paths, supporting the development of the staff member, coaching and mentoring and tracking impact of learning monthly and as required;
  • Manage the implementation of HR policies and procedures by tracking compliance, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective action as required.
